Cool pool landscaping
In this project, Pierce Landscaping was asked to redesign a very bland and outdated back yard area with garden and swimming pool landscaping services.
The client wanted a new pool and surrounding outdoor living space, appropriate but attractive fencing and planting around the pool and, most importantly, the brief was to soften and beautify the structural elements of the project.
By discussing endless backyard pool landscaping ideas, as well as what pool plants they'd like, and what pool landscaping care they'd have to maintain, the client was ready to go ahead with the project.
The sloping contour of the lawn required significant remodelling but with difficult site access, small machines and hard labour meant the process was more challenging than usual. This coupled with persistent, sometimes torrential rain, tested both the work schedule and the patience of the team.
The end result, however, more than justified the hard work. The elegant pool area now incorporates space for outdoor entertaining while at the same time providing a comfortable family living environment.

Thanks to Pierce Landscaping we now have a great outdoor living space. Initially we had a sloping back lawn sparsely treed and now we have an entertaining area. From our intitial meeting with the designer we were left with a feeling of confidence that what we wanted could be achieved for about the budget we were willing to spend.
Once work started the team were courteous, ran to schedule (until hindered by the weather) and were always willing to listen to our views, answer any question we had and make changes as requested. At the end of each day the team also had a comprehensive cleanup, so even though we were a building site the mess was kept to a minimum. Six months down the track the choice and quality of the plants and the workmahship has without a doubt been of a high standard.
